This is

An essential role that will be responsible for maximizing communication and profile opportunities in our New York studio as part of overall profile building. This will begin as a 3-month contract role but may have the option to become permanent.

We need you to

Play a leading role in defining and activating the existing communications plan to grow profile and support business development. Crucial to this will be attracting our key audiences by effectively creating and championing Pearlfisher’s original content through all of our communications touchpoints (e.g. PR, social media, conferences, events and the Pearlfisher website).

This is a key role requiring the highest level of

You will show us that you have

At least 8 years of experience in a similar marketing and communications role

Excellent written and verbal communication

Experience across a broad range of marketing practice including digital, social, content, PR and events.

Solid connections with influential media and conference platforms or the ability to build strong relationships across the industry

You will definitely need to be

Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and clients

Able to work across teams

In addition, you might have experience of
Adobe creative programs including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator

Wordpress

CRM systems such as Hubspot

The role in detail

Marketing & Communications Strategy

Manage the implementation of the 2022 Global Marketing & Communications strategy in New York.

Using the pre-determined 2022 Global Marketing & Communications Strategy, define key activations for the New York studio that will grow the Pearlfisher brand reputation across America and support development activity.

Work in close collaboration with the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager in London to ensure communications content, messages and activity from both studios are consistent and aligned with the Pearlfisher brand.

Work with the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager in London to define an editorial calendar across platforms to ensure the timely release and promotion of key content from both studios.

Strategically plan the relevant platforms to position Pearlfisher on.

Marketing and PR Activity

Working in collaboration with the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager in London, manage all PR and communications activity including journalist enquiries and interviews, networking opportunities, conferences, events, industry associations, and awards.

Work with Pearlfisher New York’s thought leaders to define, create and market key thought leadership pieces across platforms.

Manage the creation of all New York case studies, ensuring the timely capture, development and promotion of all materials including project description, imagery, motions and creds decks.

Digital marketing

Work closely with the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager in London and Pearlfisher’s digital marketing agency to ensure consistent optimization of the website.

Use Pearlfisher’s digital marketing analytics to guide activity and the development of content.

Manage the creation of written and visual content for digital platforms.

Social Media

Work with the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager in London to build and activate the global social media strategy.

Work with the Senior Marketing & Communications Manager in London to maximize and grow our presence and impact on all social media platforms.

Identify new social campaign opportunities and platforms to support the development teams through social media marketing.

Maximize Pearlfisher’s social media analytics to guide activity and the development of content.

Identify new social platforms that would benefit Pearlfisher’s brand building.

Awards

Plan and write previously identified creative and effectiveness awards for the New York studio throughout the year.

Manage the creation and publishing of marketing materials to promote awards success.

Business Development

Ensure all content supports the development of the Pearlfisher brand and New York business.

Maximize PR coverage and communications initiatives to leverage the awareness value from Pearlfisher’s IP and thought leadership.

Work with the Strategic Development Director, Development Director and Head of Client Management to initiate and support new business and client development initiatives.

Budget Management

Ensure the consistent management of the pre-approved, annual global Marcomms budget.

Assessment of success

Success will be viewed and measured in two ways:

i. Commercial Effectiveness: This is measured according to the quantity and quality of attract/inbound enquiries from clients, prospects and the press, in addition to the quality of content that’s created for Pearlfisher across all touch points.

ii. Cultural Value: This is measured by your impact, value and contribution to our unique working culture.

Reporting structure

You will report directly to the Strategic Development Director in New York and will also work closely with the VP, Executive Creative Director (New York), Head of Client Management (New York) and Senior Marketing & Communications Manager in London.
