We need you to
Play a pivotal role in Pearlfisher London's business development efforts. Reporting into the Head of Business Development and working closely with the wider team, you will be the driving force behind new business activity, identifying and developing strategic opportunities with potential new clients, to build profitable, long-lasting relationships. Depending on your level of experience and expertise, you will have the opportunity to own the full development cycle, from origination to close.

The bare minimum we need from you is
Over three years of agency experience working in a business development role.
And the technical skills you will need to have are

The role in detail
Build a pipeline of opportunities from cold, proactively targeting senior-level decision-makers within new organisations, setting up relevant, high-quality introductory meetings.
Engage and respond to inbound new business enquiries, deciphering the client's business challenges, qualifying the viability of the opportunity and proposing the optimal response.
Working in conjunction with the Head of Business Development, devise a strategy for activation of the annual new business plan, highlighting prospective target clients and conducting brand and market research to support your approach.
Dependent on experience, lead and/or attend new business meetings, ensuring Pearlfisher s multi-disciplined team is leveraged to its full extent.
Write detailed proposals, consulting with relevant team members to ensure the best approach.
Create tailored credentials presentations, showcasing Pearlfisher's expertise and relevant case histories.
Complete and submit RFI tender documents.
Liaise with the Marketing & Communications team to ensure alignment between new business targeting and supporting content.
Ensure that the weekly development report and annual new business trackers are kept up to date.
Maintain our CRM system, ensuring the database is kept up to date with new contacts and development activities/ follow-ups/ actions are tracked in a timely manner.
Attend and represent Pearlfisher at industry networking events.
