The Senior UX Designer role is an exciting progression and growth opportunity for Pearlfisher, as we work towards building and integrating digital design as a fully-fledged discipline alongside our other areas of expertise, inspiring new thinking and bringing new streams of commercial growth to our clients through digital brand strategy.
You’ll be joining an ambitious, growing team of multidisciplinary creatives, where you’ll be instrumental in setting the direction for our more extensive client's digital platforms. You'll be working closely with the entire Pearlfisher team, ensuring a digital mindset is baked into the core of the brands we partner with.

Collaborate closely with the wider Creative and Client Services team to ensure Pearlfisher maintains the highest design standards to deliver award-winning, influential work on every project.
Proactively share technology, user experience, and branding knowledge internally and externally at all stages of the design and realisation process with clients and their project teams.
Confidently present our digital expertise and represent our creative work in client presentations; this includes attending digital-driven new business and strategic developments conversations.
Build equitable partnerships with Director-level decision-makers.
Supervise digital proposals and estimates when needed.
Work in a connected, agile and imaginative way with the broader Pearlfisher team harnessing people management and leadership skills.
Demonstrate broad lateral thinking rooted in references beyond the design world and inspire people around you to do the same.
Demonstrate self-awareness and ability to communicate up and down both internally and externally.
Within one month, you’ll:
Complete our onboarding process.
Work alongside our Digital Director to fully understand the future vision for Pearlfisher’s digital service offer.
Work alongside our Head of Strategy and Strategy Partner to learn the nuts and bolts of our strategic offer.
Partake inductions with critical members of the wider Pearlfisher team.
Start working on client projects and participate in client development initiatives alongside the Digital Director and development teams.
Within three months, you’ll:
Be working independently on your projects.
Be building meaningful client relationships.
Understand our vision for the next 12 months and beyond.
Within six months, you’ll:
Be the first contact for many Digital requirements.
Have attended external training and relevant seminars.
The bare minimum we need from you is
Five to six years of experience working within digital strategy and UX.
In-depth understanding of user research. You work human-centred and translate user insights into meaningful questions that inform concept and direction.
Strong knowledge of interaction design. You are a prototyper - creating flow diagrams, interaction patterns, accessibility & usability audits.
Solid facilitation skills. You enjoy finding new ways to engage people and effectively move a group of people forward. You will facilitate workshops, presentations, and meetings. You will also have the opportunity to present and host sessions internally to inspire the wider team.
The ability to work independently to develop vital perspectives, with limited senior input, and work with other teams.
Analytical, verbal and visual skills and the ability to convey your thinking with conviction.
You will report to our Digital Director and work in close collaboration with our Head of Strategy. The role will also involve close consultation with the Strategy Partner, Strategy team, Business Development, Marketing & Communication, Client Management and all other Pearlfisher teams.
